Link Pinnacle Internet Viewer Parents and Guardians are now able to sign up for an ID number and password*. PIV's are available in the front office during normal school business hours 7:45 to 4:30. From the above link you will be able to monitor your child's grades and attendance as often as you wish. REPORTING CHANGE: Many teachers are now leaving blanks when assessments are not taken. If fewer than 80% of the required assessments completed the final grade is being changed to an IE or an Insufficient Evidence mark. This calculates as a zero and the student is in danger of failing until the missing assessments are made up. What to do if you see an IE....contact the teacher and arrange a day for your student to makeup the assessments they are missing. Once the assessments are made up the teacher will replace the blank score and recalculate the grade. If a student is receiving below a 2.3 they are also in danger of failing.
Grading Policy: Proficiency Rubric
Advanced = 4.0-3.7 Proficient = 3.6-3.0 Basic = 2.9- 2.3 Below Basic = 2.29 or less
Only assessments are averaged for individual
standard/objective grades.
Within the assessment category individual
standard/objectives are also averaged for an
overall proficiency score.
*ID Number and passwords are available in the Pathfinder office (middle pod) across from the Library . See Mrs. Myers or Mrs. Chicoine during the hours of 7:45 to 11:30 and 1:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday. If your code is not working check that there are 4 numbers and 4 letters. If the first letter is not an x try adding an x to see if it works. If it still does not work contact our office for a new passcode. |
