KENNETH BOLIVAR      "SPARKY"

Kenny graduated from Sequoia in June 2008.  He is currently stationed at Ft. Pendleton in San Diego and has completed his basic training.  He will soon be completing his MCT (military combat training).

As of February '09 Kenny was receiving more training on the east coast and will soon be stationed in Okinawa.

MAYRA DIAZ

 The Puente Project is an award -winning program transfer-readiness program helping students gain success in college.

 Mayra received the Teacher's Award from her English teacher.  (see the ceremony at www.cospuente.org).

 

Mayra graduated in June 2007.  She is currently a student at the College of the Sequoias.  She is majoring in political science and will finish COS in May 2010. 

 

Mayra hopes to be accepted into law school at UCLA and perhaps achieve her dream of attending Harvard.  She has set her sights on becoming a lawyer and hopes someday to run for public office and becoming a Congresswoman.

 Kyle graduated from Sequoia in April, 2008.  He joined the U.S. Army and  graduated from Basic Training  on Sept. 19, 2008.  He will complete his AIT (Advanced Individual Training) on Nov. 3, 2008 at Fort Sill, OK.  

Kyle loves being in the service and has signed up for 8 years active duty and 4 years of Reserves.  (That's Kyle on the left.)
