How do bats help people? |

Bats eat bugs so the bugs don't bug people! Bats keep the insect population down. One small brown bat can eat 600 mosquitoes in one hour! |

Bats eat the bugs that feed on the farmer's crops. The farmer does not have to use so much bug spray and we have better fruits and vegetables. |

Bats drop seeds and spread pollen from tree to tree. This helps more fruit and trees to grow. Especially in the rainforest, bats help the tropical fruits, like bananas, grow. |
