Bats and Birds are Different !

They belong to different animal families. A bat is part of the mammal family. A bird is part of the bird family.

Bats and other mammals have fur on their bodies
(like cats and dogs and mice). Birds have feathers
covering their bodies.

Bats are born alive from their mother's body (like
kittens and puppies). A bird hatches from an egg.

Baby bats drink milk from their mothers (like kittens and puppies and hamsters). A bird eats worms and bugs that the mother brings.

Bats have feet, arms, and hands with fingers.
Birds have wings but no hands or fingers.
