Describe the main ideas of the “Califonia Creation Lore”.
How did they worship?
Who did they worship? 2.
What were some free time activities done by the Yokuts? What
kinds of games did they play? (customs) 3.
How did they pass important stories and information to each new

How did the Yokuts exchange goods (such as tools and crafts) with
other tribes? 1.
How did tribes meet in order to make the trades?
How did they get to each other? 2.
What types of things did they trade? 3.

Describe the leaders of the Yokuts. 1.

What were their responsibilities? Essential Question #5: What type of interaction was there between the Yokuts and the first settlers who came to Tulare County? 1.
What was the point of view of the Yokuts regarding their

What was the point of view of the settlers regarding the land? Next,
your research team will be assigned roles in which you will play for the
upcoming celebration.
Once you know your roles, your group will plan ways that you will
present your information to an audience. For
