Adding Animation to Your Slide

In the top left corner is a box with all the objects in your slide.  Placing a check mark by the item will allow you to use the animation tabs to  customize each objects animation.  The order you click the boxes will be the order they will perform their animation.

You can always go back and change the order of an object by selecting it in the "Animation order" window and then clicking the  "move down" or "move up" arrows to the right.

Animation effects can be added to objects inserted into a PowerPoint slide.  To animate a slide choose Slide Show > Custom Animation on the toolbar.

How the Animation Occurs

By choosing "On mouse click," the object being animated will wait for a mouse click during the slideshow to perform its animation. Selecting the "Automatically" button gives you the opportunity to activate  the object's animation automatically by a time interval of your choosing.  Clicking the up and down arrows changes the timing.
