Text Boxes Provide Working Space

Text Box--Choosing Insert > Text Box from the toolbar will create a box on the slide that allows text to be entered into.

The box will grow as needed according to the amount of text entered.

The shape of the text box can be changed by hovering the mouse arrow over any of the white boxes on the text box border (handles).  The white mouse arrow will change into a double sided black arrow.  Holding the left mouse button down and dragging will reshape the box.  Letting go of the button will fix the box.

Clicking outside of the box stops the box from being active.  Clicking inside the box activates the box so the text can be edited.

Moving the box--by hovering over the sides of the box (not over the handles) will change the mouse arrow to a 4-side arrow.  Holding the left mouse button down and dragging will move the box without changing its shape.

Changing the text size/font--when a text box is active, drag the mouse over the text holding the left mouse button to select the text.  Going directly to Format > Font on the toolbar will allow changes to the text.
